Her Amish Patchwork Family by Winnie Griggs

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Martha and Asher’s moving, uplifting, emotional story in Her Amish Patchwork Family, by Winnie Griggs, book three in the Hope Haven series, is a delightful story about a family that was separated too soon. Bachelor Asher Lantz became the guardian of his niece Lottie, and triplet nephews: Zach, Zeb, and Zeke after his brother and sister-in-law were killed in a buggy accident; and is in desperate need of a nanny. Martha Eicher has just returned to her family’s home after caring for a relative for three months. Martha used to be Asher’s teacher many years ago. After the present nanny breaks her arm, Martha volunteers to take over for six weeks. Martha falls in love with the children; winning the hearts of the four children and as well as Asher’s heart. As much as Martha wants to fall for Asher there are secrets stopping her; causing Asher to believe the worst about Martha. The truth will need to come out and misunderstandings cleared up, before this friendship can heal and love can win. The children added an additional layer and depth to this story; squirming into this reader’s heart.

Ms. Griggs wrote a story that tugs at your heart, holding you hostage until the very last page;
reading it in one day. Take a misunderstanding, a younger man, four orphans cared for by their uncle, and a woman who has lost her place in her world and you have a patchwork family. I highly recommend Her Amish Patchwork Family to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
