Healing Kiss by Amanda Uhl

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Healing Kiss by Amanda Uhl is a physiological romance thriller that grabs the reader from page one. It is an engaging story, action-packed, full of emotion and unexpected twists that reels you into this intense story.

Lillian Milano returned to Cleveland when her sister, Hannah, falls seriously ill and needs her help. Lillian, who now goes by Zoey Mills, has been in hiding to protect herself and those she loves from a research organization that wants to use people with her healing capabilities in nefarious ways; the same organization that killed her mom. Lilly/Zoey uses her magical healing powers, but they are not enough. While at the hospital, Zoey encounters Tristan King, a wealthy computer genius. Tristan is what Zoey would call a “burner;” someone with super amounts of energy who can be used as an instrument to increase her healing power. Zoey manages to plead her case by omitting details, and a bargain is struck between the two with Zoey needing to accompany Tristan as his date. Tristan has trust issues after being hurt in the past, and he senses that Zoey isn't being completely honest with him. He decides to do some digging into her past. As they spend more time together, they develop feelings for each other. Zoey discovers some information and before she leaves, she has to see Tristan; except she someone or something finds her first.

I enjoyed the psychic elements of the book and found Lillian's talent unique. This was a suspenseful, action-packed, good read, with of elements: fear, insecurities, loss, hope and love.  The epilogue was a wonderful additional. I highly recommend Healing Kiss to other readers and hope that Hannah will get her story.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
