A Very Fake Boyfriend by Scarlett Avery

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

A Very Fake Boyfriend by Scarlett Avery, book two in the Very NY Billionaire series, featuring Shay, a plus-size beauty mogul, and Zane, the CFO of a plus-size curvy fashion line. A chance encounter at a hotel bar and with the instant chemistry between them sparking, these two hit it off right away. Shay’s step-sister’s wedding is coming up and it’s to Shay’s ex-boyfriend; the one who cheated on her with her step-sister. She doesn’t want to go along and asks Zane to be her fake boyfriend for the wedding. Zane agrees but insists it must be with benefits. Attending the wedding, there is a spark that sizzles between them and what starts out fake, quickly turns real. That is until they get some surprising news and interference by exes that quickly causes complications.

Ms. Avery wrote a wonderful and enjoyable story that should definitely not be missed. She provided a tale filled with sizzling chemistry, clever banter, family dynamics, interfering exes, and Shay’s Irish family, who aren’t afraid to voice their opinions and meddle and you are in for an entertaining read. I highly recommend A Very Fake Boyfriend to other readers, but wish there was more to the epilogue.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
