Save Me by Samantha Chase

Image
πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– Save Me by Samantha Chase, book three in The Donovans series, is another small town, big family romance that has so much packed in it with its big family drama and humor. Ryleigh Donovan is fed up with her mother and all her matchmaking antics. Where did she find these guys? I mean, it’s like she didn’t truly know her daughter. Then there was the way she sprung these guys on Ryleigh; with no warning. Ryker Masella recently moved to Laurel Bay, a bit directionless, but he loved hanging out at the Donovan Pub. He was crushing on Ryleigh and couldn’t understand what game her mom was playing, and why Ryleigh keeps ignoring his advances . Yes, he didn’t look like any of those guys. He wore the look of a bad boy: tattoos, long hair, and no job that anyone knew of; the total opposite of those guys. Stalking out of the pub after arguing with her mom, Ryleigh realized, too late, that she didn’t have her keys. An accidental kiss, a plan to fake date a few times, might just get Ryl

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– The Imperfect Proposal by Annie Dyer, book four in The English Gent series, gives us Shay and Thea’s long awaited story. This story grabbed me on page one, not letting go till I turned the last page. I will warn you to keep tissues nearby, as this is a truly emotional rollercoaster, with all the ups and downs of whether this relationship is a restart or the end for them. Ten years ago, Thea and Shay got married in Vegas. The next day, Thea was gone; she had left to make her flight in order to work with MΓ©decins sans FrontiΓ¨res (Doctors Without Borders); not even saying goodbye to Shay. Shay had no idea where his wife went to after their first night as husband and wife. This separation just about destroyed both of them. Neither asked for a divorce during their separation; nor did Shay tell anyone about his wife.   He tried to contact her, but Thea only sent postcards in return. She saved her unmailed letters, for just the right moment to share with Shay. They never tru
