 💖💖💖💖 /5 I enjoyed Wyatt and Fredericka ’s story in Yours Truly, The Duke by Amelia Grey, book one in the Say I Do series, a charming and entertaining marriage of convenience. Each chapter begins with a poem from The Lady’s Book of Flowers and Poetry, a lovely touch which plays a part of story.   Wyatt and Fredericka enter into a marriage of convenience: he, to gain an inheritance, and she to retain custody of her orphaned nieces and nephew, Elise, Charles, and Belle. Watching their feelings for each other grow was a lot of fun, but the growing affection for the children added an extra layer of tenderness and depth to the story.  Fredericka and Wyatt were delightful together as they bickered over misunderstandings and child rearing establishing their slow burn romance. My only complaint was that cousin Jane was not held responsible for her horrible and demeaning actions. Ms. Grey wrote a charming, clever, entertaining and amusing story that is not to be missed. They all have different mothers but managed to spend some time at Lake Bittersweet with their father, and sometimes each other, during the summer. When Bliss returns to Minnesota for her sister's wedding, FBI agent Earl Granger acts as her fake bodyguard. When danger follows her back to Lake Bittersweet, the body guard responsibilities become real. Bliss and Granger are about as opposite as night and day. Without sharing last names, these two spend a wonderful and amazing day together, getting to know each other better in one day than some couple in years. Lauren and Mason went through medical school together, planning to travel the world after graduation. Except, Lauren got cold feet and stayed back to help her widowed father and raise her younger brother; disappointing Mason. Fast forward ten years, Mason has returned and is temping in Lauren’s ER unit. Told in alternating viewpoints, it is evidenced that Lauren and Mason never forgot each other; nor stopped loving each other. Lauren tries to distant herself, but the physical and emotional attraction is still there. Lauren will need to loosen up and understand that Mason wasn’t the villain, leaving her behind; and remember that he still cared about her. Anna Kent is a pet groomer at the Doggie Day Care and best friends with the owner Callie. Anna does not get along with Callie’s brother, Dr Flynn Andrews; she considered him to be arrogant and he doesn’t trust her. Flynn is a brilliant surgeon but he has been working too hard and ordered to rest over the holidays. He heads to Silver Springs to stay with a family friend. While he is there, Callie announces her pregnancy, and asks her best friend Anna to be Godmother and Flynn to be Godfather. This means that they have to work together to plan the baby shower. Once he is well rested, he heads back to his hectic life in LA to work and leaves Anna with all the planning of the baby shower.
