A Sprinkle of Spring by Melissa McClone

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Flynn and Anna’s story in A Sprinkle of Spring by Melissa McClone, book four in her Silver Falls series, is an enjoyable, small town, opposites attract/enemies to friends story. Anna Kent is a pet groomer at the Doggie Day Care and best friends with the owner Callie. Anna does not get along with Callie’s brother, Dr Flynn Andrews; she considered him to be arrogant and he doesn’t trust her. Flynn is a brilliant surgeon but he has been working too hard and ordered to rest over the holidays. He heads to Silver Springs to stay with a family friend. While he is there, Callie announces her pregnancy, and asks her best friend Anna to be Godmother and Flynn to be Godfather. This means that they have to work together to plan the baby shower. Once he is well rested, he heads back to his hectic life in LA to work and leaves Anna with all the planning of the baby shower. He didn’t mean to let Anna do all the work for the baby shower but it happened as he allowed himself to again become overworked. Anna is not impressed with Flynn at all. An incident after the baby shower injures Anna, forcing Flynn to stay at her house and help her recover, bringing them much closer together.

Ms. McClone wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving story that is not to be missed. This story contains magnetism, chemistry, the magic of love, the town matchmaker, and charming characters giving Anna and Flynn a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I really enjoyed my time in Silver Falls and was happy to visit all the previous characters; catching up on their lives. I highly recommend A Sprinkle of Spring to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
