Killer Smile by Tawna Fenske

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
Killer Smiles by Tawna Fenske, book three in the Assassins in Love series was difficult story to put down. It is a love story packed with action and suspense, along with a few laugh out loud scenes, as Nicole and Sebastian try to figure who is trying to kill Nicole and if her grandmother is really still alive. This is dentist and assassin for hire Dr. Sebastian LaDouceur, and day care worker Nicole Bello’s story. Nicole Bello runs a daycare for children whose parent is in hiding or having been abused by their partner. She also has a secret identity, the Rogue, a name given her by her grandmother, as they worked together to rid the world of dangerous people.  Nicole's mission is to rid the world of abusers, especially those who harm women. The Bello family still struggles with their parents’ murder, and the death of their beloved grandmother; but the past has resurfaced, targeting Nicole along the way. Sebastian refuses to walk away from the woman who has stolen his heart, finding the two of them in the midst of a battle to finish what was started years before. Sebastian works as an operative with Nicole’s brother, Matteo, as well as is the town dentist. The relationship between Sebastian and Nicole has been building throughout the series. Sebastian’s ongoing flirtatious attitude and slow seduction of Nicole pushes all of her buttons; but Nicole struggles with a past mired in darkness, and Sebastian might be the man to bring her into the light. Sebastian uses his charming facade like a weapon. He's all easy smiles but he has ethics and lines that he will not cross for anyone. Nicole is just amazing at what she does. Nicole and Sebastian couldn't be more perfect for each other. The banter between them is clever and brilliantly witty. I loved the way the story developed, revealing a number of family secrets. Then there is Sebastian’s grandmother, Terri, who also has a few secrets up her sleeve. I highly recommend Killer Smile, a fitting and wonderful conclusion to the Assassins for Hire romance series. All three siblings have found love and their own happily ever after despite a few secrets still remaining hidden.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
