πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

I loved Harlow and Travis’ second chance story in Mine to Have by Natasha Madison, book one in her Southern Wedding series, is filled with humor, emotions, and a lot of miscommunication. A reminder that communication is crucial in any relationship and that love can prevail; no matter how much time has passed.

Travis Baker and Harlow Barnes were each other’s first loves when they initially met in veterinarian school. However, Travis makes an immature and stupid move by ending the relationship; devastating both of them. A few years later, Harlow gets an invitation to Travis’s wedding. Maybe it’s karma, maybe it’s fate, but everything that can go wrong, goes wrong, to the point where the wedding is called off and the relationship is ended. Harlow and Travis realize that their connection still exists; as does their sizzling chemistry and magnetic attraction. These two can still burn up the sheets. Add in all the family dynamics, humorous banter, and the long distance obstacles and you have an amazing story. Having a second chance, just like love, is not always easy and the road to forever often has a few potholes. Travis and Harlow will need to rethink their priorities, their life goals, open up the communication channel, and make some changes in order to get their forever.

Ms. Madison wrote a wonderful love story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, magnetic attraction, sizzling chemistry, wonderful and humorous conversations, and endearing characters giving Travis and Harlow a second chance for a forever love.  I highly recommend Mine to Have to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.
