If You Want Me by Helena Hunting, book two in the Toronto Terror series, is an age-gap, dad's best friend, grumpy/sunshine, hockey romance, forbidden, friends to lovers that is funny, heartwarming and full of sizzling spice that is hot, hot, hot!!

Hollis Hendrix is pro hockey player for the Toronto Terror, along with his best friend and team goalie Roman Hammerstein. Roman was a teen dad and his daughter, Peggy Aurora, Hammer is now all grown up, finishing her last term of university. Aurora, the Toronto Terror’s unofficial team princess, interned with the front office the previous term, doing an amazing job, and is hoping to snag a job there once she graduates. Last season Aurora and Hollis grew closer after an injury sidelined him, seeing her as the woman she has become. He tries to keep his feelings at bay, respecting his friendship, but when a moment happens while she is cat-sitting, they can’t seem to stop thinking about each other. What he didn't know is that Aurora had teenage crush on him that's pretty much developed into something more adult so to speak. There are so many things that are keeping these two apart: friendship, age gap, her dad and keeping the relationship a secret. Roman’s one dating rule for Aurora has always been, No Hockey Players; so she knows he will not approve.

Hollis and Aurora have off the chart chemistry with amazing banter and tension. There were numerous obstacles keeping them apart, the big one being Aurora’s dad. The push and pull of these two was so much fun, watching them walk the line between friends and lovers. Hollis is so serious, but so kind and understanding. Aurora, though young, has been around hockey her whole life, and understands the difficulties of a relationship with a hockey player. She was patient with Hollis and wanted someone to love and care for her because of her, not who her dad was.

I loved Aurora’s group of girlfriends and their willingness to drop everything to be there for each other; always lifting each other up and spending time together like friends should. Add in the teammates on the Toronto Terror, a found family, and we have a whole group of people that love and care for each other. I can’t wait to see who’s story is next.
