In An Engagement Pact by Noelle Adams, book four in the Green Valley series, Dan Mills and Vicky Emerson build a fake relationship, get engaged and then married so Dan can receive an inheritance. Dan is not the only one this arrangement is benefitting. Vicky gets a place to live, a percentage of the money, and able to save money to attend grad school. The more time these two spend together, the less this arrangement feels like pretend.

 

Filled with humor, charming, heartfelt, clever banter, wildly entertaining, and even chemistry, this is a very enjoyable story, making it more than a typical marriage of convenience.
