Summer Hate by Melissa Ivers

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Melissa Ivers drew me in and didn’t let me go until I reached the last page of Summer Hate, a novella in her Mountain Ridge Resort series. This is a forced proximity, enemies to lovers, best friends’ brother romance. Donovan, Violet’s best friend’s brother, manages the family owned Mountain Ridge Resort. Expecting a girl’s weekend, Violet discovers that not only has she been stood up by her best friend, but she failed to make a reservation for them on one of the busiest weekends. Donovan offers to share his cabin with Violet. Then chaos ensues.  These two had a history and were constantly fighting and insulting each other, almost like it was foreplay. When they did make it to the same bed not only did sparks fly but their chemistry could set off the resort’s fireworks. When things go off the rail, Donovan will need to make some life altering choices if he wants a future with Violet.

I highly recommend the wonderful and enjoyable short story Summer Hate by Ms. Ivers to other readers and look forward to reading more books by her.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book prior to purchase.
