A Little Wilder by Serena Bell

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Kane and Mari’s unexpected and surprise pregnancy in A Little Wilder by Serena Bell, book four in her Wilder Adventures series, is a wonderful, heartwarming romance about finding yourself and having the courage to admit your fears and realize that the path to happiness leads out of your comfort zone. I picked up this book, planning to read for a short while, instead I spent the day falling in love with Mari and Clark and their story.

Marigold Barrymore is seven months pregnant as the result of a one night stand in Vegas with a guy Mari can’t get out of her head. Mari is an interior designer for airstream trailers and travels from job to job. Her latest job brings her to design six trailers for a glamping experience in Oregon. Much to her surprise she was hired by the brother of her baby’s dad. Kane Wilder is a good guy. He’s always been the peace maker in the family or thought of as the boy next door. After a wild night in Vegas with a woman who resembled a fairy, Kane’s not sure that’s who he really is. He’s finally come to terms with the fact that he won’t see her again. Imagine his surprise when he discovers the woman he’s been dreaming about is suddenly before him. Kane might be surprised but he is thrilled to see Mari again, even with her being pregnant.

From the start, Kane and Mari are perfect for each other, bringing out the best within each other. Neither attempted to influence the other to change their ways and become someone they weren’t. Kane was never going to tame Mari, nor did he want to clip her wings. Mari saw the real Kane, the artist, the photographer, the caretaker and encouraged him to show the world his talents. Kane and Mari helped each other learn how to compromise and gain the courage to chase after and fight for their dreams and passions. One thing about the Wilder family, they are supportive of each other, welcoming of additions to their family and care about each other; surrounding each member with love.

Ms. Bell once again wrote a wonderful, emotional, and heartwarming story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, strong magnetism, family dynamics, clever banter, the magic of love, and endearing characters giving Kane and Mari a chance at love, happiness, a loving  family and a future together neither expected. I highly recommend A Little Wilder to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
