Kidnapped in Alaska by Beth Carpenter - Romantic Suspense

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Kidnapped in Alaska by Beth Carpenter, book four in her Wilder Adventures series, is a wonderful, sweet, suspenseful romance story about forgiving oneself, trusting God, and second chances in life and love. When Alexis Mahoney, along with her dog Poppy, take her 12-year old niece, Keira, on a last minute camping and rafting trip in the Alaskan wilderness, neither expected to run into any danger let alone an attempt to kidnap Kiera. Neither can figure out why someone would want to kidnap Kiera. Running to escape the danger, they stumble upon Zeke, who is living far off the grid, and just wants to be left alone and build his cabin. A man with eyes filled with pain. But also one determined to help them as protective instincts kick in. Zeke will do all he can to protect Alexis and Kiera, but the one thing he can’t protect is his heart. Pre-teen Keira, develops a strong bond with Zeke and becomes determined to prove she is a quick learner, using her strength and knowledge, helps with defeating the kidnappers; allowing for a safe and happy return to her father. Zeke will take time re-assessing his life and feelings before being healed enough to be open to love and a future with Alexis.

Ms. Carpenter wrote a clean, suspenseful, emotional, and heartwarming story that should not be missed. Her writing provided a visual of the amazing landscape as well as allowing me to hear in my mind the rushing water and other sounds of the Alaskan wilderness; as if I was there among the pages of this story. I highly recommend Kidnapped in Alaska to other readers and look forward to Ms. Carpenter’s next book.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
