Million-Dollar Consequences by Jessica Lemmon: A Surprise Pregnancy Romance

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Meghan Squire and Isaac Dunn’s story in Million Dollar Consequences, by Jessica Lemmon, book two in the Dunn Brothers series, is an amazing, steamy, and enjoyable tale. Isaac Dunn came to Dunn, Virginia to film a special feature of his former hit TV show Brooks Knows Best. Because of earlier publicity and to prove to the director he’s not a liar nor a playboy, he decides he needs to prove that he really has a girlfriend; now to find someone to play the part. Podcaster Meghan Squire came to Dunn to visit her big sister, Kendall, and Kendall’s boyfriend, Max Dunn, former child star and twin of Isaac.  Isaac and Meghan have an instant-connection from the moment they meet and Meghan agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend. The “fake” relationship doesn’t stay pretend for very long, changing the dynamics and causing real life consequences require that lasting decisions be made. Their connection, magnetic attraction, and sizzling chemistry help make everything look real. There is some angst, misunderstandings, lots of laughs, some tears, great family and friend interactions, and lots of steam to get Isaac and Meghan to their happy ending. All the unexpected craziness can only be explained as bad luck; but one can think maybe it is truly fate.

Ms. Lemmon wrote an enjoyable story, with a romantic setting, hunky hero, likeable heroine, and a perfect grand gesture, that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, clever banter, and charming characters giving Meghan and Isaac a chance at love and a future together. I highly recommend Million Dollar Consequences to other readers.
