Killer Moves - Tawna Fenske

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Killer Moves by Tawna Fenske, book two in the Assassins in Love series, is a second chance story that was difficult to put down.  Matteo Bello is finally a free man with his record expunged. Imagine his surprise when upon returning home to see his sisters, the first person he lays eyes on is the woman he left nearly four years ago, Renee. However, Renee Lorenson is not alone; she has a three year old son who looks eerily familiar to Matteo. Renee is hiding from an unknown threat and isn’t talking. She has been on the run for awhile from someone stalking her but she has no idea who. Matteo wants to help her and hopefully explain how sorry he is for everything he was unable to tell her in the past but he has a lot of groveling to do. The last thing she wants to do is trust the man who walked out on her without a word but Matteo will do whatever he has to protect his new found family. The strong magnetic attraction between Matteo and Renee as well as sizzling chemistry has not waned during their time apart.

I really enjoyed this second chance, romantic suspense story as Matteo, Renee and AJ set off on a road trip in an attempt to stay one step ahead of the unknown, but escalating threat while trying to discover exactly who is behind this stalking and the reason why. I loved Matteo’s, or should that be My Tail’s, interactions with his mini me especially when it came to the toilet training. I highly recommend Killer Moves to other readers and can’t wait for the next book.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
