Unsung by Amy Knupp

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

I loved Everly and Seth in Unsung by Amy Knupp, book two in her new Dragonfly Lake series, a beautiful story of unexpected attraction, friendship, and love. Seth Henry is the guy everyone loves and admires. He handles the business end for their bar and restaurant and though he is liked by all, he has guarded his heart since grad school; keeping a relationship gone wrong a secret from everyone. Everly Ash, Sweetheart of Country Music, walks out on her wedding to Trey Gilbert, Country Music Celebrity, she is a mess, convinced that she is a failure in every way but especially romance. She flees to Dragonfly Lake to hide from scandal and figure out what to do next as she figures out how to take back her life. Seth is surprised to find that Everly is the tenant for his newly renovated garage apartment; quickly agreeing to keep her secret and help her. Seth knows how vicious that the press can be. As their relationship evolves from friendship to romance, his family and friends are curious about his new tenant and it becomes hard to keep it a secret. Fortunately, the residents of Dragonfly Lake, a town where the townspeople are known to gossip, protect their own.

Ms. Knupp wrote an emotional, wonderful, heartwarming romance with an amazing small town vibe that kept me turning the pages as I followed Everly and Seth’s relationship as they learn what’s really important in life, before it’s too late. She provided a tale rich with magnetic attraction, sizzling chemistry, clever banter, and charming characters giving Everly and Seth a chance at love, happiness, and a future neither expected. I highly recommend Unsung to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series and see what happens to the last standing Henry brother, Cash.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
