A Cowgirl's Thanksgiving Kiss by Amy Vastine
A Cowgirl's Thanksgiving Kiss by Amy Vastine, book four in the Blackwell Belles series, a multi-author venture, with only one more books to come, is a sweet, enemies to lovers, heartwarming romance with a reminder of the importance of family and that it’s okay to ask for help.
J.R. Blackwell, the eldest of the sisters and a single mom, works on a ranch
breeding bulls in Texas with Hunter Robbins,
a former bull rider.
Her boss has announced retirement, and either J.R or Hunter
will take over; leading to a competition of sorts. J.R. wants to be taken seriously in her
job and if they knew she used to be a trick rider, they would not respect her.
Hunter has been trying to get J.R. to trust him and maybe come to love him. He
has been in love with her for a while, but she is a bit prickly. When a tree
falls on her house, Hunter comes to the rescue; taking
her and her daughter to stay in a cabin on his family's dude ranch. Then J.R.'s
mother, grandmother and great uncle show up trying to convince her to come to
her mother's big day.
J.R. has enough on her plate on a normal day: her family
showing up, the damage to her house, the competition for a promotion, and an
attraction to Hunter and she isn't sure she can handle it all.
Hunter wonders if she will ever trust him and return his love. Now, I can't wait for Willow's story and the big reunion.
