A High Tide Murder by Emily George - A Cozy Read

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

A High Tide Murder by Emily George, book two in the Cannabis CafΓ© Mysteries series, is a very well written mystery that will keep you entertained from page one until the last page. Chloe recently opened a cannabis cafe in the small coastal California town of Azalea Bay. The town is hosting a surfing competition, and everyone is shocked when one of the competitors is found dead. Was it suicide, as the police claim, or murder, as Chloe believes? Chloe, of course, feels obligated to investigate, making some questionable decisions concerning her safety along the way. There is no shortage of suspects since the deceased had some issues with money and girlfriends.

Ms. George builds up the story by adding mystery and suspense with twists and turns, making it so you will not want to put the book down. I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy mystery and loved the way the author keeps you engaged all the way through the book.
