Thanksgiving Blessing

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Thanksgiving Blessing by Marta Perry, book six in her Promise Glen series, is an inspiring and heartwarming story about family, grief, love, friendship, family and faith. It is a reminder to be thankful for what you have and what you did have all tied in with a little mystery as well as an unexpected romance building between Rebecca and Nathan.

Rebecca King, a widow, is raising her twins, managing her farm, and selling produce at her roadside fruit and vegetable stand. Halloween is approaching and vandalism is occurring in the area. Nathan Mueller and his teenage brother move onto the neighboring farm that Nathan inherited from his ne’er-do-well uncle. Nathan is still grieving the pain of losing his wife and has no intention of becoming involved with the pretty widow next door, but his protective instincts kick in; despite Rebecca’s family drawing him into their circle. Rebecca, her twins, her siblings, and even her grandmother are able to bandage the wounded of the Mueller souls by their offer of unconditional friendship. Rebecca and Nathan were able to help each other in their healing by sharing each other’s burdens, strengthening their friendship as sparks of attraction being to glow between them.

Ms. Perry wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving story that reminds us to count our blessings. The message of love, faith, and family was; making this sweet and inspirational read one I could not put down, drawing me in, making me forget it was fiction. The sweet love story between Becca and Nathan makes your heart feel good; including a bit of danger that has readers waiting for the next shoe to drop throughout the book. This is another cozy visit to Promise Glen with characters you’ll love and a story that comforts. I highly recommend Thanksgiving Blessing to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
