Somebody to Love by Lea Coll

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

I loved Harper and Leo’s emotional and heartwarming journey in Somebody to Love by Lea Coll, book five in the Ever After series; a best friend’s older brother, single mom story. Harper is a single mother of an adorable daughter working hard to give her the best life possible. Harper is extremely close with her best friend’s family, a family that has welcomed her and her daughter into their lives with open arms. Harper is now a single mom working for Gia and the Giovanni family considers her a member of their family with her own daughter, Evie, as their granddaughter. Harper has had a crush on Gia's oldest brother, Leo, forever, but Gia made it clear while they were growing up that her brothers were off limits. Leo has a special relationship with Evie, almost like a father to her. Leo never really noticed Harper when they were young, even though she has been in their family circle as an adult he never looked at her ‘that’ way. Only now he sees her in a new light, as more than his sister's best friend.

This story is about friendship, the value of self worth and deciding and fighting for what is important to you. The more time they spend together, developing their relationship,  the stronger their feelings became and the more they needed to come clean to those around them. Harper believes she’s never been enough, and is terrified that liking Leo will prove it one final time: if she’s right, she loses everyone she holds dear. Except if she’s wrong: she could obtain everything she’s ever wanted and so much more.
With sizzling chemistry and magnetic attraction, Harper and Leo were perfect in every way, and they deserved to be a loving family with Evie,  their biggest cheerleader. More than anything, Harper needs to learn to never doubt that she is enough.
I highly recommend Somebody to Love to other readers and can’t wait to read the next story in this series; Gia’s story with Silas, and hopefully she has met her match.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
