The Duchess of Drury Lane by Janna McGregor, book three in the Scoundrals and Scandles of Drury Lane series, is a wonderful romantic story of forbidden love, passion, and chemistry between a future duchess and a self-made millionaire. Celeste Worsley is a dutiful daughter determined to please her grandfather by marrying the man he chooses; but she can’t resist the charm and intelligence of Malcolm Hollandale, a millionaire without a title and a chemist working at the Drury Lane theatre. Malcolm knows he’s not worthy of Celeste, but he can’t deny his feelings for her or his desire to help her.

 

Ms. MacGregor has created an engaging and heartwarming story that will make you swoon and smile. Malcolm and Celeste were charming, with strong chemistry apparent in every scene. A couple you will root for and a vibrant world that you will want to visit again and again. I highly recommend The Duchess of Drury Lane to other readers who enjoy a love historical romance with witty dialogue, steamy scenes, and a bit of drama.
