Reckless Hearts

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

I loved Avery and Aiden’s love story in Reckless Hearts by Brighton Walsh, book four in the Starlight Cove series, a wonderful grumpy/sunshine/best friend’s brother story with off-the-charts chemistry, family dynamics, secrets, matchmaking, and meddling. Aiden and Avery, strangers upon meeting, act on their impulses and attraction by spending one night together; only one night will never be enough. These strangers get a huge surprise when Aiden’s sister, Addison, introduces her best friend and his new assistant, Avery, to Aiden. Aiden is shocked, as he told Avery something a secret that no one else knows. Addison pushes her own agenda, pushing Aiden and Avery together as much as possible. They shared a connecting bathroom. Addison sends them on an exploratory trip where they share a small cabin with only one bed, as well as has them attend a dinner with suggestive foods and a couples’ massage. Aiden and Avery are amazing together; sizzling, explosive, off-the-charts chemistry with an emotional connection. Sharing their deepest secrets and histories with each other only brought them closer. They were the whole romance package, despite thinking they wouldn't last long. It was wonderful to finally understand Aiden and appreciate what Avery added to his life.

Add in all the crazy with Mabel and her gossip, everyone being up in everyone's business, the interactions and meddling between the Mackenzie siblings and snippets of what is to come and you have an emotional, amazing, burn the sheets, humorous romance that should not be missed. I highly recommend Reckless Heart to other readers, and I look forward to Addison and her brother's best hockey playing friend story.
