Wilder at Last by Serena Bell

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
Easton and Hanna’s story in Wilder at Last by Serena Bell, book five in her Wilder Adventures series, is a wonderful, heartwarming romance about finding yourself, complicated family relationships, hard lessons about life and connecting with each other. Easton Wilder and Hanna Hott both work at Wilder, Easton’s family business, for years, and they’ve known each other since they were kids, but they’ve never really been the best of friends. They are more frenemies; friendly but still enemies. They banter, they push, they prank each other, and get in each other’s nerves constantly. When a hot influencer, Bear Warden, from out to town, arrives to work with the Wilders, to help the Wilder Business with a few outdoor expedition trips. Hanna finds herself attracted to this new fascinating man; Hanna thinks she wants him to end her drought. Meanwhile, Easton finds himself more and more annoyed by Hanna’s developing feelings. Hanna asks Easton to help her get the guy. Except, Hanna is no longer envisioning purchasing clothes, practicing kissing, and other things with Bear in mind.

Easton and Hanna were made for each other; the off the charts chemistry they share sparking their imagination and igniting feelings between these two. Their transition from frenemies to friends to lovers was beautifully done. The love they have for each other from the start was so obvious. Easton was essentially the only person Hanna trusted to even be slightly vulnerable with, and Hanna being the first person to truly see Easton was so endearing. The banter, the back stories, and the various personalities of all the characters, including Hanna’s grandpa Fox, added depth to this story. A lot of what Hanna and Easton have gone through and how they overcome some of the burdens that have been holding them back from happiness, opportunities and love. This story was the perfect balance of everything, from jokes, spice, reality, friendships and relationships.

Ms. Bell provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, strong magnetism, family dynamics, clever banter, the magic of love, and endearing characters giving Easton and Hanna a chance at love, happiness, and a future together neither expected. I highly recommend Wilder at Last to other readers and look forward to Ms. Bell’s next series focusing on Hanna's brothers.
