Turn Up the Heat by Kimberly Kincaid

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Turn Up the Heat by Kimberly Kincaid, is the first full-length story in her Pine Mountain series; a reworking and re-release of a book by the same name from 2014. It’s a sizzling opposites to lovers, big city meets small town, snowed in, a big-change-in-life-plans. Bellamy Blake is a real estate analyst who was just dumped on national television by her boyfriend and at the same time her monster of a boss is taking her game next level. She decides to takes a break from the big city, and goes to Pine Mountain, to get away from him and her demanding boss and spend time with best friends.  She’s not expecting anything except some restorative girl time but instead ends up needing a tow from a hot, annoying guy who works in a garage. Bellamy didn’t expect it would take a week to fix her broken down car nor the sexy small-town mechanic, Shane Griffin, who will fix it. Over the following week, including a period where the two are snowed in at Shane's shop, they get to truly know each other better. Except Shane is not your typical mechanic and he has secrets he’s not willing to share. Despite everything seeming to be working against her, a slow-down is just what Bellamy needs needed, along with a meet cute, a snowstorm, an opportunity to get to know Shane, and cook for him; allowing them to give in to their attraction. The heat these two generate should have melted the snow keeping them indoors; it sure didn’t cool them down. There are sizzling sparks and off the charts chemistry arcing between Bellamy and Shane. The heat was definitely turned up as the electricity sizzled between Bellamy and Shane. I highly recommend Turned Up the Heat to other readers and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of this series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
