Gimme Some Sugar by Kimberly Kincaid

 πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—/5

Gimme Some Sugar by Kimberly Kincaid, book two in her Pine Mountain series; a reworking and re-release of a book by the same name from 2014, is an amazing, heartfelt, humorous story you won’t be able to put down.NYC celebrity-chef Carly di Matisse moved to Pine Mountain to re-establish her career after a disaster of a marriage. There she meets contractor Jackson Carter, a determined bachelor, when he arrives to fix the deck on Carly's rental house. With the sparks flying and flames burning bright, these two commitment-phobes believe being friends with benefits will work best for them; until it doesn’t as they end up falling in love with each other. Both Carly and Jackson have issues they need to deal with, some fun moments and definitely moments that will make your heart hurt for this couple.

Once again Ms. Kincaid dishes up a real treat (bad food pun intended). This small town in the mountains is a wonderful place to escape. All the friendships the characters have created, male and female, adds a layer and depth to this series. Also the recipes in the back will make your mouth water. I highly recommend Gimme Some Sugar to other readers and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next book in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
