Sugar and Spice by Kimberly Kincaid

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Kimberly Kincaid returns to her earliest series, modernizing and adding additional content as she re-releases Sugar and Spice, book one in her Pine Mountain series. This story was my introduction to Ms. Kincaid, and I’ve gobbled her books since. This story will definitely make you hungry for all the cookies. Pete Mancuso, pastry chef & Lily Callahan, baker, are adorable together in this forced proximity, opposites, and rivals to lovers romance with both of them entering the same cookie baking contest. Pete wants to further his career while Lily wants to open her own bakery, after working out of her kitchen, and winning this contest would help both of them achieve their goals. This heartwarming story has the right amount of heat, sweetness and nuttiness creating the perfect recipe for a fun quick read; drawing you in from the first page.

Sugar and Spice and everything nice created a hot competition between a sweet and spicy couple. The sparks flew, the kitchen grew rather hot, and the electricity sizzled between Pete and Lily. I highly recommend Sugar and Spice to other readers and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of this series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
