Only One Mistake by Natasha Madison

I thoroughly enjoyed Michael and Jillian’s amazing story in Only One Mistake by Natasha Madison, book six in her Only One series; a surprise pregnancy that is sizzling, funny, sexy, and swoony. After a bad experience with his NHL coach, Michael Horton has been traded to Dallas, to play on the same team as his cousin, Cooper, and hopefully get the fresh start to his career; one he badly needs. On his first night in town he meets a woman who has just been stood up by a blind date. Jillian Williams didn’t even want to go on the date, but was talked into it. While her night looked like it was going to be an absolute disaster, she ended up being rescued by Michael. The two of them share drinks, non-stop conversation, discover a spark of chemistry and after a night of passion that neither of them will ever forget, they go their separate ways. Miscommunication is prevalent in this book and it led to some interesting situations. When these two unexpectedly reconnect months later, surprises are in store.

Jillian and Michael work well together, balancing each other out. Jillian is shy, smart, sensible, strong yet vulnerable, and so relatable. Michael is a good guy with a huge heart, a major alpha, and a romantic at heart. Michael instantly accepts responsibility for his actions, stepping into his new role and doesn’t look back. The progress of their relationship felt natural; not feeling rushed or unrealistic. The interactions with their families were hysterical, bringing laugh-out-loud amusement as they insert themselves into the situation; yet accepting of them and everything between them.

Ms. Madison wrote a wonderful love story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, magnetic attraction, sizzling chemistry, wonderful conversations, and endearing characters giving Michael and Jillian a chance for a forever love.  I highly recommend Only One Mistake to other readers..
