Bush pilot Bridget Shanahan and Archer Ellison III get a second chance in Playing Dirty in Alaska by Samanthe Beck, book two in the Captivity, Alaska series, is an emotional story of grief and loss, family and relationships, friendships, secrets, power and control, and love. The foundation is emotional, tragic and compelling; the romance is spirited and fated; the characters are sassy, broken, and energetic.  Bridget and Archer end up going through many situations, family drama, and misunderstandings before they find their way back to each other.


Ms. Beck created a captivating story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, witty banter, and endearing characters giving Bridget and Archer the happily ever after that they deserved. I recommend Playing Dirty in Alaska to other readers.
