Hooking a relationship - Catch and Release Groom by Cindi Madsen

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Catch and Release Groom by Cindi Madsen, book three in the Getting Hitched in Dixie series, is an enjoyable enemies-to-lovers story that takes place in the little town of Uncertainty Alabama. Easton Reeves is romance adverse after getting left at the altar several years ago by his High School Sweetheart. He is working several jobs, Sheriff, Search and Rescue and fly fishing guide. His dream is to own a tackle shop and do fly fishing excursions full time. His life is about to change when he knocks on the door of what is supposed to be honeymooners for their fly fishing lesson and he meets Imogen Kaplan. Imogen is supposed to be on her honeymoon, but she called off her wedding a month before she was to go down the aisle. Since she already paid for the “Honeymoon Package,” she decides to go it alone. When Easton meets Imogen, he senses she is going to be trouble. Once she realizes that she is the only singleton amongst all honeymooners, she make a bargain with Easton to pose as her groom to get each other through some of the events that week and in return, she will accompany him to his ex’s wedding. Imogen and Easton are really fun characters with trust issues, who enjoy pushing each other’s buttons. Neither of them are looking for love, romance, or a relationship and yet fate has other plans for them. It was fun to watch their relationship grow and their teasing of each other. There were some funny moments, and I enjoyed some of the side characters, and catching up with the Eaton’s friends. I highly recommend Catch and Release Groom to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
