#Resort Love by Samantha Chase, book one in the Lakeview Harbor series, is an enjoyable opposite attract, found family, enemies-to-lovers romance story. Harlow St. James, a passionate real estate agent who has always lived in Lakeview Harbor, has been dreaming about getting the owners of the now closed Lakeview Harbor Resort to sell and hopefully save the town. Walker Bradshaw and a group of his friends want to renovate the Lakeview Harbor Resort where they all had many great memories from their youth. Hopefully this redo will help build the town with additional businesses. Walker meets Harlow the first night he is in town. Their magnetic attraction and chemistry lead to a night of fun, and sizzling passion. The next day they discover they share a connection to the resort: he wants to rebuild, and she is a realtor trying to sell it. With different visions for the resort the connection is going to lead to some heated encounters.

 

Harlow and Walker fell in love despite the situation with their different views regarding the resort. They learn to listen to each other and trust in each other. It wasn’t easy, but true love isn't always easy. It takes time and trust something they both needed to learn, but in the end was worth everything they went through. I loved the relationship and banter between all their found family and friends that added so much fun and warmth to this story. I can't wait for their stories as well.
