The Liar by A. Rivers, book four in the King’s Security series, is an enjoyable, wonderful, emotional story, filled with secrets that are unraveling with the turn of each page. West is working undercover and marriage to Detective Joanna Lee helps him with his cover; but along the way the only real thing about his lies was the love he has for her. A romantic at heart, Joanna was sure she found her price charming. West was everything she wanted in a man, but when she stumbles upon him with another woman seemingly having coffee and he fails to mention it to her, she becomes suspicious. A quick call to Zeke at King's Security and the investigation into West is on; turning her world upside down. Although West lied to her, he does everything to prove to her that she can trust him. They embark on a mission to help him save his case and along the way their relationship. This story has a little bit of everything: drama, suspense, romance, action and a
sweet and beautiful ending.
