Single All the Way by Amy Knupp

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Single All the Way by Amy Knupp, book two in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, is
a heartwarming, beautiful, sweet, single parent, friends to lovers story, that explores the losses one suffers in their lives, family, seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child, and finding happiness and love a second time.

Widower Ben Holloway, the town veterinarian, could never say no to any creature in need; including his best friend’s widow, Emerson Estes and her kids. When Emerson learns that she and her children are going to have to find a new place to live, she mentions it to a friend and he immediately offers up his home. Ben says they can stay there until she has a chance to find a place of her own, it seems like the perfect temporary arrangement. But with each passing day Ben starts to think maybe it should become a permanent arrangement. Convincing Emerson of that is easier said than done, since she isn’t looking for anything permanent after all of her losses; keeping her heart guarded. But Ben isn't giving up so easily. He can see a future she has trouble seeing, so he will have to find creative ways to help her see it.

I loved the friendship between Ben and Emerson, as they were supportive and caring of each other; having each other’s backs as they raised the four kids together. I can’t wait for the next single Dad story in the series.
