Copper Cliffs by Annie Dyer
πππππ/5
Copper Cliffs by Annie Dyer, book seven in the Puffin Bay series, is an amazing, heartwarming, emotional journey of love, healing, and new beginnings, filled with unexpected twists and emotional ups and downs that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
Romy McAllister is a single mom to her spirited 5-year-old daughter,
Heidi, and widow of Joel, who died during a heroic lifeboat rescue mission when
Heidi was just a baby. Since then, Romy hasn’t felt ready to date again,
despite her friends and Joel's mom urging her to move on. Cassian Caddick is the new head teacher at the local
school and new to the small town of Puffin Bay. He’s looking for a fresh start
while waiting for his divorce after a catching his wife with his best friend.
Romy and Cas meet by chance at the pub, and despite
the situation being a bit difficult; he being the head teacher and she being the
parent of a student. These two are drawn to each with their magnetic attraction
and undeniable sizzling chemistry between them; despite not yet ready to be
open to anything. When Heidi’s friend Mia needs support, Romy steps in to help,
becoming her guardian; even if it makes her life more complicated.
I really enjoyed every moment of Cassian and Romy's story. A beautiful
and complicated love story, with real life complications that can either draw
them closer or drive them apart; fortunately, they chose love. A touch of danger and suspense adds to the love story,
withs Cassian becoming protective of his “girls.” This book touched my heart
and soul, in so many ways. I can’t wait for the next story set in Anglesey.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary
copy of this book.
