Front Page Affair by Mira Lyn Kelly is a fake relationship, second chance with a friend’s younger sister set in Chicago; an updated version of a prior release. Payton and Nate knew each other as kids. After a falling out with his brother, they drifted apart. Now he needs to somehow distract the press from a story he wants to keep hidden, so asked his old friend to help him out by pretending to have an illicit affair with him. Payton is the only one he can trust to help with the ruse. After a very public break up, Payton wanted change her good girl image and do something reckless, so when Nate offered her a deal it was a no brainer; especially since she had been crushing on him since they were young. Spending time together, Payton falls deeply in love with Nate, a man who never wanted to marry. As Nate realizes Payton is falling hard for him, he knows it’s time to end the relationship but he just cannot as he is still attracted to her. When she informs him of a consequence of their time together she will not accept him until he can prove to her that he loves her too. Filled with magnetic attraction and sizzling chemistry, I highly recommend Front Page Affair to other readers.
