Wild Nights by Lea Coll

 πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

I loved Oliver and Ginny in Wild Nights by Lea Coll, book three in the Wilde Brothers series, a story about learning who you truly are and finding the courage to truly embrace love. Oliver, the single dad and serious brother, notices Carolina, an events coordinator who is working and staying at the resort.

What starts as one night with no strings or promises grows into so much more. Despite living in different states, they can’t stop thinking of one another and are looking forward to the next time that they can see one another. These two are stubborn and closed off, and while they can’t stop thinking of one another and looking forward to seeing one another, their hearts are closed off.

It takes a blizzard with them getting snowed in and spending their days together in order for them to open their hearts and minds to something more. They are very similar: very responsible, caretakers, capable and scared; scared to the point that they don’t communicate with one another. They don’t share their growing feelings for one another, at all; these two and their insecurities. They nearly pass up the chance for happiness, and if it weren’t for friends and family, they just might have.

This was a sweet read about falling in love, changing your life expectations to meet what will work for your future and everything in between. Oliver’s son Joey was an adorable scene stealer, and their connection with Marcus, the chef, was perfection as well as timely. I'm looking forward to the next Wilde brother getting his story.
