Wedding Dashers by Heather McBreen
Wedding
Dashers by Heather McBreen is a debut novel with wonderful chemistry, witty banter, mistaken identity, an almost one-night stand and a twist of
fate that leaves two stranded wedding guests to find their way to their final
destination together. This entertaining, and chemistry filled close proximity
romance combines elements of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with a
wedding chase set in Ireland, making it absolutely addictive. The characters will steal your
heart from the first page and having you wanting to reach the last page in
order to see how everything will play out in the end.
I really liked how
the third act conflict was handled; as it made sense for the characters and
also gave them time to grow and heal. The overall message of learning to be
enough on your own was very powerful and well done. I also appreciated the
message that there aren't perfect relationships or marriages. That perhaps it's
more about finding someone to face whatever comes with and choosing them over
and over again. That you can grow together without growing apart. The epilogue
brought everything full circle and left me with a huge smile on my face.
I’m looking forward to reading more from this author in the future. If you're
looking for a fun and entertaining forced proximity romance that will frustrate
you and sweep you off your feet at the same time, you won't want to miss
Wedding Dashers.
