A Cowgirl on His Doorstep by Anna J. Stewart

A Cowgirl on His Doorstep by Anna J. Stewart, book three in the Blackwell Belles series, a multi-author venture, with more books in the months ahead, is a sweet, opposite attracts, and heartwarming romance with a reminder of the importance of family. This third story of the Blackwell Belles and although this starts off, where the last one left off, it can totally be read as a standalone. Tissues might be needed with this story.
When
Iris Blackwell, a former trick-rider turned RV renovator, arrives at Shane
Holloway's ranch to refurbish his father's old RV, Shane finds himself
immediately attracted to her. Shane is busy raising his brother's three
orphaned children and managing the family ranch. . Shane is trying to be there
for his father along with the kids. Iris
is estranged from her mother and sisters; preferring it that way. Iris feels an
attraction to Shane and the children, despite avoiding relationships as she has
issues about trusting. As their shared interest grows, Iris helps Shane with
the children in dealing with their grief over losing their parents, seeming to
know just the right thing to say to Butch and children. When Iris's mother,
grandmother and great uncle show up on the Holloway’s ranch, she is totally
blindsided. She knows her mother wants something from her and is not sure how
she feels about it
This
is a sweet, charming story of learning that appearances are not always what
they seem and family will always be there to love and support you, despite
struggles that can occur within. It is also a story about taking chances in
life and love. As well as overcoming grief and heartaches, especially when hope
is within reach. I’m looking forward to the next story in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a
complimentary copy of this book.
