Meant for Her by Natasha Madison
Christopher and Koda's story in Meant for Her by Natasha Madison, book two in her new Meant For series, is a beautifully written second chance at love filled with emotion, grief, guilt and healing; showing how two people, who experienced something traumatic, can experience the situation differently and yet, in the end both heal.
After
losing her husband, Dakota (Koda) not only has to pick up the pieces and
protect her daughters, Rain and Luna, and be the best mom that she can be and
give her children the best lives that she can. She is also discovering the fact
that the man she married, Benji, was not the man she thought he was. It seems she
truly knew very little about him and what he was really up to. She’s angry and
she’s hurt believing that his so-called friends knew what was going on and they
should have been able to help him. Dakota needs to find a new normal, a new
life for her and her girls. There is only one person who has broken through
Dakota’s shell and be there for her and the girls and his name is Christopher
Stone.
Christopher
was Dakota's husband’s best friend and after he passes learned he was one of
the only ones who didn’t know what was going on with him. He’s everything that
Dakota and her girls deserve as he consistently tries to be there, for all
three of them; looked after and the safe place for them in this world that they
are facing. He is struggling with the guilt of not knowing his
friend was in trouble and he’s trying to work through that. With both of them grieving
they tend to rely on each other. The more time they spend together, the more
they get to know each other and sparks begin to fly. Christopher gives all three of them the love and
attention they need and deserve.
Christopher and Dakota help each other out of their
dark place of grief. As they healed and grew, the chemistry, bond, and
connection did too; as they transition from friends to lovers. Their love blossoms
and grows as it turns into something more for them.
