My Favorite Mistake by by Claudia Burgoa, book four in her Paradise Bay Billionaire Brothers series, is Caspian (Cas) Spearman and Polaris (Rys) Holland’s story. From the moment they first met, the sparks flew, yet after an unforgettable night they parted ways. Meeting up again in Vegas, a few years later, the chemistry and attraction is just as intense as it was that first time.


Cas Spearman is the captain of the Portland Orcas hockey team in Vegas for the All-Star game. Rys Holland loves her job as a veterinarian; she prefers four-legged mammals to the human kind because they love unconditionally and not one animal has ever done her wrong; as she learned after surprising her boyfriend in Vegas and finding him with another woman when she walks into his room. Cas and Rys unexpectedly meet in the hotel bar and after fun evening of drinking, dares and gambling, it ends with a wedding and a video that has gone viral. In order to control any repercussions, Cas and Rys decide to stay married for a few months. However, as time goes on this couple realize they can’t live without each other, until they can’t. There are numerous ups and downs, and trust issues along their journey but it was enjoyable watching them grow together as a couple. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride right from the first page and I couldn't put it down as I needed to see what would happen next and it was so addictive and kept your attention throughout.  I love marriage of convenience romances and Caspian and Rys’ journey was no exception. I highly recommend My Favorite Mistake to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series.
