Every Beat of My Heart by Lea Coll - Heartwarming

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/5

Every Beat of My Heart by Lea Coll, book two in the Calloway Brothers series, is a wonderful, heartwarming, healing, single mom, older woman, love story.  It is a story of learning who to count on and to trust the ones you love.

Jameson is a firefighter who enjoys working with kids, so he substitute teaches at the middle school and this year is coaching a football team. Divorced single mom, Claire Coleman was not looking for a relationship or love when she met Jameson after her middle school son, Owen, sets the kitchen on fire trying to make a grilled cheese sandwich. From their first meeting, there is a spark and instant connection between Jameson and Claire. With his big heart and generous nature, Jameson worked his magic on both her and her son, Owen. He had so much love and affection to give and he gave it happily to them. This is a wonderful story about overcoming your fears and insecurities and then learning to embrace your true self so that you can find happiness.

My emotions were pulled in all directions. This story about Jameson, Claire, and her son, Owen are heartfelt, a tale of overcoming their fears and insecurities and learning to trust that the people who love you can be counted on.
