Maybe One Day by Catherine Bybee, book five in the D’Angelos series, follows Mari, mother of the siblings, who deserves a second chance at love, after being widowed for 10 years. Her children are happily married, a couple with children on the way and Mari is happy with her life, that is until her daughter Chloe, suggests Mari and her best friend, Rosa go on a singles cruise. Never expecting to meet anyone, Mari meets a handsome single father, James; who was also forced to come onto the cruise. Mari and James are caught off-guard, realizing that maybe they do want something more after all. This story provides family drama, a few misunderstandings, protective children, and some growing pains, along with a lot of emotion, joy, and love. It is a wonderful conclusion to the D’Angelo series, with the possibility of a spinoff for Mari’s best friend, Rosa.
