A Very Merry Enemy by Lyra Parish, part of the Very Merry series, is a second chance, opposites attract, right person, wrong time, holiday magic romance. Before they can move forward, these two will have to overcome the hurts from their past, misunderstandings of their childhood connection, and face real life challenges as the adults they are supposed to be. Holiday magic just might be able to bring these two together.

 

This was much more than a holiday romance despite the holiday vibes. The tension, longing, sizzle, and wonderful characters, made for a beautiful love story with a happy ending. The chemistry and tension between them was off the charts, no matter if they were fighting or working together. Characters from previous books in this series have significant roles in the story as important events take place.
