Waking Up Married by Mira Lyn Kelly, is a light, funny, entertaining and sweet read. Megan Scott is a woman with a plan. No more relationships. No more hurt. She was taking her life and moving forward. She wanted a child and would raise it on her own, once she decided on how to get said child. Waking up after her first night in Vegas with a man she doesn’t recognize and a wedding ring on her left hand, she knows she is in trouble. She can't even get his name straight; Carter, no Connor. She never expected that going to Vegas for her cousins wedding and having a few too many drinks would end up with her plans all messed up.

Connor Reed was a man who also had a plan: find a woman who didn’t want a fairytale life or a love relationship. He didn’t plan find the right woman while in Vegas but he wasn’t a man to turn his back on opportunity; and he thinks that Megan is exactly who he was looking for. He wants a family, but he doesn't want love. He wants affection and fidelity. But love, it just brings heartache. Surely it's better to have someone that you can count on, but not someone who is going to hurt your heart.

 

Plans don’t always turn out like you want though. This partnership could only work if they could keep emotions out of the way. Except, there were plenty of emotions and issues they need to face and solve as these two tried to compromise and commit to this agreement. Filled with magnetic attraction and sizzling chemistry, I highly recommend Waking Up Married to other readers.
