Save Me by Samantha Chase

Save Me by Samantha Chase, book three in The Donovans
series, is another small town, big family romance that has
so much packed in it with its big family drama and humor. Ryleigh Donovan is
fed up with her mother and all her matchmaking antics. Where did she find these
guys? I mean, it’s like she didn’t truly know her daughter. Then there was the
way she sprung these guys on Ryleigh; with no warning. Ryker
Masella recently moved to Laurel Bay, a bit directionless, but he loved
hanging out at the Donovan Pub. He was crushing on Ryleigh and couldn’t
understand what game her mom was playing, and why Ryleigh
keeps ignoring his advances. Yes, he didn’t look like any of those guys.
He wore the look of a bad boy: tattoos, long hair, and no job that anyone knew
of; the total opposite of those guys. Stalking out of the pub after arguing
with her mom, Ryleigh realized, too late, that she didn’t have her keys. An
accidental kiss, a plan to fake date a few times, might just get Ryleigh’s mom
off her back and teach her mother a lesson on interfering
in her life. Ryker is elated that Ryleigh is kissing him. He has been trying to
get her to go out with him for six months. Ryker is willing to take
whatever he can get, even if their relationship was to be a fake one; but
appear real to others. To Ryleigh’s surprise,
fake flirting, dating, and spending time with Ryker quickly turned their tentative
friendship into real feelings and emotions. Ryleigh realizes that there is so
much more to Ryker than his outside appearance with tattoos and long hair; he
was driven to excel and succeed. At the same time, Ryleigh discovers so much
more about herself, her needs, her feelings, and her place in her family.
Ms. Chase
wrote a wonderful, funny, and emotional fake dating story that should not to be
missed. She
provided a tale that sizzled with their chemistry, magnetic attraction, humorous conversations, laugh-out-loud
moments, endearing secondary characters and an
overbearing family allowing Ryleigh and Ryker
to get
that chance at
love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Save Me to
other readers and look forward for the next book, Charm Me.
I voluntarily reviewed a
