Dirty Groom by Mira Lyn Kelly
Mira Lyn Kelly scored
another goal with Dirty Groom, book seven in her Slayers Hockey series. I seriously did not want to put this book down once I started reading it
was that good. I loved Liam Diesel and Stormy from the first page.
Two broken souls, two kindred spirits, meet by chance in a hotel bar in Vegas. They only want one night to take away the pain
and to forget. By the end of the night they are married with prenup written on
a cocktail napkin. No real names, no phone numbers, never to see each other
again. Most women don’t want lies but Stormy did; she didn’t want to know anything
about her new husband. A man who treated her with respect. Who admired her
strength. Who woke up alone after she snuck out of the hotel room the next
morning. Stormy didn’t think she would ever see her husband again. The moment Diesel
saw his wife he was not going to let her go. At least until she signed the
divorce papers. He hadn’t seen “Jane Jones” in a year and it was just his luck
that he saw her at the airport. A one-hour conversation turned into more
talking and then it was too late; they were unexpectedly connected. Liam and
Stormy make a deal. Love was not involved. They would go their separate way,
with an end date. They had their reasons for not wanting a real marriage. Ever.
To anyone. What they didn’t expect a year ago was falling in love; with each
other.
I voluntarily reviewed a
