Dare Me Tonight Release & Review
My thoughts: 5-stars *****
WOW!! Ethan and Sienna’s story in Dare Me Tonight, book
three in The Knight Brothers series by Carly Phillips is definitely a winner. This story is a cross-over
combining characters from the Dare family with the Knight. Ethan Knight was destroyed by the death and
betrayal of his wife and after a year had still not emerged from the fog he was
in or let up on his drive to build and protect his company. He never expected
providing a favor for a friend would be the catalyst he needed to get back on
track. Sienna Dare was the youngest of all the Dare children, legitimate or
not, and tired of being treated as such. As she is exploring possible options
for her future, she ends up with Ethan as her escort at a black tie corporate
event. What happens next is an explosion of chemistry, electricity, and
magnetism as these two act on their attraction.
Not only did Sienna surrender her v-card to Ethan there are consequences
to their night together, ones they never expected. Sienna had survived childhood
leukemia giving her the confidence to take on the world. Ethan needed a woman
who was not intimidated by his grumpiness or his alpha personality and Sienna
was capable of being that woman; strong and independent, unwilling to be
steamrolled into doing anyone’s bidding. After dealing with her brother Ian,
the model alpha-male, Sienna knew she could deal with Ethan. She would be a
handful for Ethan, but I believe given the chance, he could prove he was the
man for her. Life would not be an easy transition as Ethan’s company had a
contract with Ian Dare for work on his new stadium. Maybe once Ethan and Ian stop trying to prove
who the better protector for Sienna was, Ethan and Sienna can work through
their problems, finding the perfect solutions.
Ms. Phillips wrote
a wonderfully emotional and sexy story that is not to be missed. She provided a
tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing
characters giving Ethan and Sienna
a chance for happiness, love and a future
together. I highly recommend Dare Me Tonight to other readers.
